I've about had it with D-Links support.  I think the reason that it is
so bad is to ensure that the 30 day return period runs out.  My basic
problems boil down to this:
I can't use the supplied server as I have too many songs and it crashes.

Are there any devices that support Windows Media 9 encoded video?

I'm using a DSM-320 with WMC and love it.  I have a little used laptop that
I'd like to make into a WMC client instead of investing in another DSM-320.  
Is there a way for another PC to connect to a WMC server to play content?

I have recetly purchased a new video camera that requires Quick Time to
display the .mov files and that's fine.  The problem is that Quick Time is
now the primary video interface for all internet video donwloads.  How can I
change Windows Media to be the primary internet ...

For "some" reason I do not want to explicitly authorize every new player
device I'm (temporarily) adding to my network. Is there a way to make WMC
accept every device it discovers without the user having to go through a
lengthy "click here and click there" process? Unsupported ...

1) Their software stinks so I installed .net framework and WMC.  Playlists

I installed Service pack 2 in my computer and then tried to install Windows
Media Connect. I get the message that the installation is successful. But I
am NOT ABLE TO LOCATE this software listed in Start Menu or the C:\Program
files or any where else.

I just downloaded WMC to share files through D-Link's Wireless Media Player.
I found the server that comes with the player is too slow when scrolling
through the list of artists on a large MP3 collection.
I have installed WMC and it recognizes the D-Link player. However, when I

    "Folder Sharing cannot be started.

I think I've got a little further down the road of working out why a third of
my music collection doesnt get scanned without errors by Windows Media
Connect.

I have a (not too old) analog camcorder and I've recently caputured some
family video and saved it as high quality DVD video (MPEG-2) on my computer
using WinDVD Creater 2.
These files are big and a 2 hour video takes up close to 8GB on my hard

Greetings - this is my first post.  
I have just bought a D-Link DSM-320 Wireless Media Player which is hardwired
to the Fast Ethernet socket in my new Dell Dimension PC.  The computer is
running Windows XP Home Edition SP2, has a fast procesor, plenty of RAM and
