I have two perplexing questions.
The first is, what could be causing the WMC service to hang on startup?
I have made sure all the services WMC depends on start automatically.
I am using XP Pro and WMC 1.0.

I am having trouble with windows media content playing the entire song of any
songs that I purchase online.  I have firm ware 1.6 on my DSM-320 media
lounge.
The song will only play for the first 2:30 minutues or 2:18 minutes

The DSM-320's Media Server (D-Link) works well streaming the files off the

I'm not able to bring access to the CD-RW to limited account users without
having to turn them into administrator users. The device is not available at
all for them and I'm not able to enable it. Is there a way to turn this

I tried to download Media Connect 2.0, hoping it would be better than the
DLink software for the DSM-320 I just purchased.  My server passes the
validation test, but I get the following error message when the installation

I have my XP firewall off and I have media extender installed fine - my media
center stops on install and said ports could not be opened - again the XP
