i have a similar problem like everyone else...who you perscribed the manual
install to....windows media connect being unavailable...nothing showing up
in deivces in WMC...my xbox not recognizing my comp...all firewalls are
off and i tried to go through the manual install/unistall ...

I have the new LG LRM-519 windows media device (very cool device) and I want
to put a NAS product (network storage device) on my LAN to hold my media
(primarily .WMA music and pictures).  Is there a NAS product that supports
WMC or is there a way to direct a windows media device ...

Streaming standard mp3 content to my Xbox 360 works fine.  When I try to
stream Napster downloaded subscription content (Wma drm), I get a red circle
with a stripe through it (like a no uturn sign).  What can I do to resolve
this?  Microsoft support has so far hung up on me twice ...

WMP 10 under the Burn tab, right top all 4 options (Display Properties and
settings, Create Folder, Delete from device, and erase disk) are all grayed
out.  Anyone else have this problem or know of a fix?

I run a xp home service pack 2... 360 .. when i link up the computer straight
the 360 i get no problem but when i link it with the  linksys router i have
the 360 doesnt find my computer.. anyone have any ideas ...--

I have an Netgear MP101 and I have just loaded Windows Media Connnect with no
problems at all.  However, when I play an album (ripped legal CD to computer)
after one track, the player will not move onto the next track and 'hangs'.

I am having trouble getting my 360 to see/recognize my laptops.  As of now,
my 360 is hard wired to my Linksys router and I generally use wireless cards
with my laptops.  I did try to hardwire my laptops to my router, but the 360
still could not see it.

the first 20 or so Albums or Song titles (depending on whether I'm in album
or song view) get displayed. After scrolling past the 500th album, there's

I have just installed Windows Media Connect 2.0 for use with a Dlink Media
lounge DSM 320. All of the files are visible to my DSM 320 except for the
ones with a .mp4 extension. These files are playable using the DLINK server
but not WMC is there a limitation in WMC that stops it ...

I'm getting the following exception while scanning a folder full of some
thousands of images for sharing with WMC. Whether this can be fixed or not,
it shouldn't crash WMC - this error should be caught and added to that
"Shared with errors..." list I always get when sharing music ...
