I'm running Windows XP with SP 2.  I have my Xbox360 connected to my PC
wirelessly with a Linksys router.  I can go on Xbox Live fine.  But my xbox
won't detect my computer.  Please HELP!

Can't find anyone having this problem.

including protected WMA until I complied with firmware upgrade.  Now, WMC
only plays non-protected content.  I can view all files, but DSM gives error

Ok, my 360 read my laptop with WMC no problem! Now I try to use my new PC
with WMC on my 360 and it won't read it at all whatsoever.

After intalling Windows media player 11 the DSM 320 can no longer play WMA
files with DRM downloaded from Music Match.  D-Link's support is as follows:

I connect xbox 360 with my pc by Windows media connect 2.0, everything is
fine,  media connect can find out xbox360, and xbox360 can find out my pc.
but when I try to list my pictures or music on xbox 360, it's always return
"not find pictures"

I cannot get the windows media connect service to start. When I try to start
it I get the following error message:
Could not start the Windows Media Connect Service service on local computer.
Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start.

How do I disable the balloon on folder sharing when all has started up. I
don't want to have to click on the X every time to dismiss it.

I can't get WMC2 to play WMA files.
My DMP (a Noxon 2) is recognised by WMC, and the DMP recognises WMC; all the
setups appear OK.
I can play MP3 files OK, but any WMA tracks get the message "server

Just purchased a DSM-320 and have downloaded all the latest firmware and
installed WMC2.0.  However, I am unable to play purchased WMAs from Wal-Mart.
DSM sees them but will not play them.  Also, in WMC2.0, the properties for
the DSM-320 indicate "Cannot play protected Windows ...

is it possible not to have a router because when i am hooking up my pc and
xbox i cannot find one. will it work the same if i just plug into the

I have connected my XBox 360 wrielessly and it's working fine with WMC 2.0.
