Hi, I have bought me a Vision M 60GB.
It looks real nice and the size of the disk permits me to put higher quality
files on it beacause I really want good quality music and 192Kbps just hearts
my ears and hart...

I have some WMV videos with associated SMI subtitle files (same name, .smi
extension). I'm able to watch the videos with subtitles on my PC using Media
Player.
My question is, Is Windows Media Connect able to stream WMV with subtitles,

i am running windows media connect in conjunction with my xbox 360
i'm looking to play content which is in wmv format which is being streamed
from my PC to localhost:16900/5
the url which i use in windows media player is http://localhost:16900/5

I've just got a Buffalo NAS and Roku Soundbridge - before I go down the
Twonkvision route, is there a way of getting Windows Media Connect to act as
a server on the NAS?
The whole point of this is that I don't want to have leave my PC running

Is there any way to sync my library with Sony Ericsson k750i mobile
phone(WMP10)?I tried that and got no good result.WMP10 converts all the
music to .wma which my mobile phone doesn't support.k750i only supports
playing .mp3, .wav, .aac audio formats along 3gp for video.Even ...

Recently my windows media player will not allow me to sync any music to my
512MB mp3 as a message reading "Error: The media is write protected" comes up
and stops sync.
please help!!

All right so awhile back I was actually able to stream media to my 360 using  
Windows Connect and then I downloaded a 360 update and it stopped working.  I
tried reconnecting using Windows Connect but the PC couldn't find the 360 and
vice versa.  So I gave up.

I'm having a problem with Windows Media Player 11 / Windows
Media Connect. I go to the Media Sharing option, check the 'Share my
media' box, press ok, then nothing happens. The ok button greys out

Yamaha Japan have just anounced a firmware upgrade for the RX N600 whic
will enable the receiver to interface correctly with WMP11. The firmwar
update can be done by your local dealership using a USB flashdisk.

hi, i am trying to connect my new yamaha HRT-N5060 reciever to my pc using
windows media connect 2.0 in wmp 11, I can view the pc (titled media 1) on
the reciever but none of my music file show up on the unit. all possible
folders are shared on the pc, firewalls have been altered ...

I have several web enabled devices near my TV, so in order to avoid a tangle of cabling or a bunch of wireless bridges, I plugged a wireless gaming device into the wan port of my d-link Di-614+, and connected the other devices (including my 360) to the LAN side.  Everything works ...

I have been using media player 11 with dsm 320 and maxtor network drive
I just did an update to media player and now DSM can no longer play
my music . My library playes on the computer with media player 11
But not on dsm 320. The share is set up the same but the dsm does not find

Yamaha sent me the firmware upgrade today.  I have installed the upgrade but
still cannot locate the receiver in WMP11.  Any suggestions?  I believe I
have my firewall settings correct.
If you would like a copy, please let me know.

Can anybody help me. I have completely lost Record Now and I don't know
where I can install it again. Thanks
