for some reason when i go to volume control setting in the accessories it say
that there are no active mixer devices availble. i dont know what that means
are how to fix it. i know i have speakers because the are in the moniter. so

I am trying to write to a CD-RW in my E:\ drive and the computer doesn't seem
to recognize it.  It says : 'insert a CD into the drive' and there is already
one there.  I can not find a place to format the CD.  I'm using windows ME.
