I can't get my windows media player icon to work. I click on it and it does nothing. I've even tried playing a cd but it won't play that either. I can't get it to downloads my music on cd's. What can I do to fix it? Please help me...

I would open WMP 7.1 and get an error message "class not registered"  error #80040154.  So I removed 7.1 and downloaded WMP 9 and got the same error message and error number.  What to do?
