I was trying to copy some songs from a CD but that failed. Now I cannot even listen to my songs (MP3, MPEG) at all. Before this there was no problem. I tried what Chirs Lanier suggested but that did not help. So what should I do?

I was trying to play a media file(Video Clip type) I was given on a cd. I am using Windows Media Player Version 9 and am using XP pro.

I was just hoping wether anyone had any clues on how to fix this.
