I am trying to run a ulead editing program and I keep getting the message: The ordinal 11 cound not be located in the link library DSOUND.dll. For the non technical, what does this mean and how can I fix this?

hello..i have a problem here.my windows media player cant open.everytime i open it an error repot send me this "INTERNAL APPLICATION ERROR HAS OCCURED".what will i do to open my windows media player again?

i get 2 error msg when i start up.. first it tells me
cannot find wmp.exe please do a search for it blah
blah... the other tells me cannot find wmp.exe please get

I have download several songs from cd's to my  computer. Now when i want to play them i get a error message saying the system cannot find path specified. What does this mean? Hoq do i fix it?
