I downloaded Media Player 9 from Microsoft. When I select

OK, tried to record an audio CD and got this as a response?
What do I have to register?

When I turn on my system I get an error message - Error - 389. A valid data
link cannot be found, deleting file. I'm assuming its a media player error
because the error message has the media player icon on the task bar. I've
tried Microsoft's knowledge base but that drew a blank.

When I try to open a AVI file in WMP 9 (win2kpro) I get the error code C00D11CD. In WMP it just says Windows Media Player has encountered an unknown error. Could it be a codec I don't have or is the file corrupt

When i was trying to play video, it said "Windows Media Player encountered an unknown error." When i click on wed help, it said "You've encountered error message C00D11CD" and some body help me?
