I have followed the instructions to create your own cd but when I get to the Music on Device pane it says to click the "recordable CD-ROM drive" what should I do here I've clicked REMOVABLE DISC :E AND :D which are the only two I show in that field. what's up

Your earlier suggestion (you provided a link to another page) did not work for me.  WMP is still not able to play VCDs.  It is a VCD and NOT SVCD.  I read that Windows XP comes with MPEG-1 decoder and so playing VCDs should not be a problem (I am assuming)
