I cannot open my windows media player at all. when i click on the icon i hear the sound of an error, but i do not see anything, and nothing else happens.

according to your sugestion, I should open de dialog box as to erase files from a rw cd, but that option is not displayed!

is this a joke????? as you can see friends there are many of us suffering problems with error msg 80004005 and apparently no one from windows can help, so what do we do folks, if you have problems with media player keep bombing them with questions and they come back with gobble ...

I have been trying to listen to a piece of music off of an online album but the message says "connecting" and then quickly flashes up "windows media has encountered an unknown error" can anyone help me?
