veen trying to play a film i downloaded but the message "the requested video codec is not installed on this system" keeps comming up. There is no ID number or anything. What do i need to install to make the film work?

the solution given does not help on error 0xCDOOD11F8, I am unable to access thwe3 tools solution and can not set digital or analog play so I get real crummy sound.   HELP

I have two machines each running Windows XP and Windows Media Player 9. Some of my avi files will not run on one machine - I get the error C00D11CD - they run fine on the other machine. The files run fine using Quicktime
Can anybody suggest what might be wrong

I try to copy a music to a cd and everytime I get this message interface not registered. I have been copying music for quite sometime with window media and now all of a sudden I get the message. What does this mean and how do I fix it.
