800705AA, encountered this message when i tried to open up a url sound file, has been happening since the sasser worm virus was removed from my computer, media player will not open to play it, its version 9 of media player and my operating system is windows xp professional

i have encountered this error message numerous times while using windows media player. i have checked my device manager and my sound device says it may be corrupt or not enough ram, a (C3) problem. when i reset the computer it works fine for a little while, but then it won't play ...

I keep getting the 0xC00D11BA, Condition ID = 0x00000000, message saying it cannot play the file because there is a problem with my sound device. I've tried system restores to various points, but everytime i reboot the sound card isn't working again?
