I can play music i've downloaded from kazaa manually but wmp just basically doesn't seem to register them, all it will do is play them. I cannot add the tracks to wmp or do anything else and my playlists have completely disappeared! Help!

I get code 8004011 when I try to play my cd.

This is the most aggravating thing EVER!
I am dragging files over to the playlist, listening to music, and after
about 10 minutes of sorting and peeking around folders 1 of two things

My soundcard has quit working.....how do I fix it? Please!

I have sound except in windows media 9 player and real 7.0. It says I need to close conflicting device but none are open. I have a C-media 9.7 card.

media player will let me copy one to three songs off the playlist to a cd then it closes the cd and says it can't copy the files - i've tried different playlists and different brands of blank cds and different write speeds but the problem still persists, what next?

Sorry, yet another error 80040111. Chris, I tried everything you advised earlier and GSpot said that it was an valid avi. file and that I had the right codecs installed; but the rendering failed and GSpot told me they didn't know what the problem was. Do you have any thoughts on ...

when I wanna do a new list with my songs it comes a message that says that windows media has an unknown problem so I can't do a new list how can U help me for this.

every time i open any mp3. or wma. file it says "Windows Media Player has encountered an unknown error."  the only file type that works is wav.

this error arises when I attemtp to open video attchment to e-mai. What is the cause andhow to eliminate it thank you
