How do I stop Media Player from opening everytime I start my computer? It just started two days ago and opens the last media played. I've asked a few IT pros and got different answers, from a virus to spyware to a glitch?

I tried burning a few tracks in wma format to a cd but it came up with the error 'the RPC server is not available' What does this mean? Also it says my cd writer drive is in use however it isn't.

When I try to play things that I have download in Windows Media and screen pops up that says "ClassFactory cannot support requested class", what does this mean? How can I fix it so that I can play the stuff that I downloaded. Thanks!

Anytime I download a WMV file, it errors out and brings me to the windows media home page. I have a brand new computer, and everything is up to date. My roomates computer will download these files, and it is only wmv. that will not download. I can not figure out how to solve ...

I downloaded 3 songs from the Walmart site. When I tried to play them I got the error message "unknown error" and # "COOD11CD" for eachof the three songs. I have Windows Media Player version 9.00.00.3075 and the Windows XP operating system.

Has anyone successfully restored/fixed their corrupted licenses? I had to do a system restore and now none of the CDs I loaded into Media player will play again. Is there hope or should I just dump them all out?
