Can someone help me, I am trying to play a video and it says I can't because I have accessed an error which is code....C00D11CD or something ? any help? please talk!

I have several gigs of music store on my school's server.  It's all legal.  I own it all.  The IT guys want it moved off the server onto my hard drive.  How do I do that and have windows media player locate those files after the move?

A error message came up called COOD11CD it says Windows media player has encountered an unknown error.
I was wondering if anybody knows how to fix this or is it that you can not do anything about it.

I purchased an audio file online and it resides on my server now http://www.mayashastra.com/carioca.wma
I downloaded the latest WMP 9 and the latest updates for it, but I can't play it.
Could anyone from MS help me play this file?

when ever I try to play a movie I receive a message telling me that I have to re-install Media Player. Yet, when I try, a window open telling me that installation is not possible because I have version 9.0.0.2980 when 1.0.0.0 was expected. Of course I haven't a clue what this ...

so cannot  play from start up but when i go into windows media

Problem:
Files with an avi extension, asf files, asx files give no problem. But wmv and mpeg files won't play directly via a link.

My cpu 100%, connecting, player hangs.

I'm trying to watch a picture movie made for me.  I can
watch for about 1/2 a song, then the message 'the docfile
has been corrupted' comes up.  Can someone please tell
