I got that error when I tried to play an AVSEQ01.MPG it is a mpeg2 file, I followed your link and I got the trial version of the mpeg 2 player moonlight and now I dont get the error, what I get it is a movie with the audio and video distorted, it is impossible to watch it.

it says that the licenses for my media files are corrupted cuz i just got a new cd writer installed   how do i fix this

When I try to play a dvd I get sound but no picture. I get an error message that says "This pin cannot use the supplied media type" . I would appreciate any help.

I recently installed the Media Player 10 beta and for a
while it was working fine. Now whenever I load WMP, I get

I need help.  My WMP has been hijacked.  Any time I try
and open it, does not matter from where (shortcut, music
file, internet site), a crappy ad for Zantrex 3 plays in
a crappy looking player (not WMP) and opens IE to a site

My computer always puts up the message "You've encountered error 80040111 while using Windows Media Player." whenever I try to play an AMV. Does anybody know how to fix this?

I am attempting to play an mp3 file and am getting this error.
This does not happen with all files and I'm running WMP V8.0.
