I was listening to polyphonic ringtones on the optus website, and they worked at first and then wonows player started giving me this error.

every time I try to play anything that is emailed to me, or is a clip on a news web site, I get this error.  Anything I can do to fix this?

hi all
i'm having a problem opening an avi file. I'm sure the download is complete so you can rule that one out.
1 - I don't get a Error message ID number  
2 - Error message text "Windows Media Player has encountered an unknown error"

I am trying to burn songs onto a cd.  Everytime I try, it converts the files and starts to copy, but then I get this error.  I have lowered the copy speed all the way down to 1x and I closed all other programs before starting.  Can anyone give me advice on what the problem might ...

I installed media 10 beta version and now I cannot get it
to uninstall all i get is a rollback to prev player
message however the media 10 skin stays the same. I want
to reinstall media 9 back to my system but i just cant
