Everytime my computer starts up it opens up the windows

i have the WMP 10 player latest updates etc and connect among other
things to a Creative Muvo 4Gb player.
i wanted to use the synchronise option for loading content and in

Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 272487 was not helpful as it refers to media player 7 and recomend upgrade to the latest plyer - but upgrading to WMP 9 appears to have caused the problem!

I am having problems with my Windows media player v.9. It
has been working fine until now suddently it crashes

I can not record audio cd completely thru the window media
player 9 series. And the error code is Error ID =
0xC00D11AB, Condition ID = 0x00000000. How can I solve
