I cannot launch WMP since it was downloaded with the to WMP9.0. I keep getting the error message with the code C00D11C6. What could the problem be? Pls advise.

I am using WMP V9 with Win Me and have a problem when playing local mp3 files in the Media Library. When the song starts playing, it starts Ok and then slows down giving a terrible WOW effect; then it settles down.
