When i try to use my player to listern to radio it simply

Is there a way to delete the two second time delay WMP 9

I am trying to play a video I downloaded on my media player and as it is connecting a window pops up that says WMP has encountered an unknown error.  The error number is C00D11CD.  If anyone knows anything about it and can fix it, please do!!!!!

After encoding video clips from a DVD R disc into mpeg2 format and then burning onto CD, I keep getting an error message "class not registered" when trying to play the video.
Any advice would be appreciated.
