Tried 3 times with values of 2,3,4 seconds as crossfade
value but nothing changed from original disc with no
crossfade. Seems too simple to mess up, but it would
appear i have - but how?

I have had problems with my Media Player (9).  I have
repeatedly been unable to open the media player.  The

OK. So I have a couple of .mpg files I want to copy to a CD. First
thing is Windows Media Player 9 tells me that it can't play this type
of file yet it plays them fine. It won't copy them to CD-R, though.
I've been told on this newsgroup that WMP will not copy .mpg files.
