I am having a little problem I have Windows Media Player v 9 and when
I come to play back a movie I can not increase the brightness or any
of the facilities in Enhancements/Video settings the sliders just
spring back to the middle with no increase or decrease.

uh i dont konw what this means

Six minutes into a video an error message displays "data error (cyclic redundancy check)" and freezes the CD.  Any ideas.  Running on Windows XP.  Have tried on several lap tops and get same message.
