I have XP-Home and installed Windows Media Player 9
Series.  When I launch the player and click the "Media
Guide" tab, I get the "The page cannot be displayed"

Hi, I keep trying to play back files with .avi on the end and I consistently get this message: 80040154 Class not registered. Some of the filenames have hdtv-lol in them, is this creating my problem?

everytime i try to send a song to my rca lyra player, i get the  C00D11AA error and it says that Windows Media Player cannot copy the file because the license associated with the file restricts it. how can i send a song without this message coming up?

My media player was working fine before I did the update a few days ago...now I can't get it to work.  In particular, the radio function which I need to listen to on-line lectures (that worked before the update!)  Now ... no dice.  Someone please help.

I ran the windows update about 4 days ago.  Since then
Media Player 9 won't run.  It shows up on the list if I
ctrl-alt-del, but it is not responding.  
I tried reinstalling Internet explorer 6, and Media player

have some problem:
I have windows xp home sp1 with all update, geforce fx5200, wmp 9 with last update.
Sony DVD  rw dru-700a.
when i try to play dvd i have different problem, with some dvd (original, no copy) i get  C00D1163 error. with other dvd (homemade) i can't ear anything ...
