I wiped and loaded my machine with a fresh W2000 load. I then went to the Windows update site and picked-up all the SPs and critical updates. Every time I reboot, the system performs well.

I was attempting to copy some audio tracks to my hard drive and when I completed the copying each file contained only 1kb of data and Windows Media Player would not play the tracks and kept giving me the "unknown error" message.  Does anyone know why this occurred?
