I upgraded to Media Player 9 and now files that used to play won't anymore and I get the error code "a security problem has occured". Any ideas?

WMP9 will play one avi file (off local disk) but when the next is opened loading commences (from Disk or web) but when load is complete WMP9 shuts down. If I reopen WMP9 it won't play but will shut down on loading afile. Rebooting
