I'm getting this error message when I open AVI files. I can open these files in Quicktime. I am also using Movie MAker 2, and it uses Media Player. This isn't viewing files also.

An unknown problem has accured apeard when I tried to play an avi file on my windows media player series 9 on windows xp. the series 9 specifications state it plays avi files what am i doing wrong how can i overcome this cheers

after downloading movie, media player 7.1 wont aquire license pass, gave error message no error discription error code=oxcood2f06 using windows 98 downloaded new media player 9 but didnt work removed 9 and reinstalled 7.1 which has worked b4 but not now have everything enabled ...
