I am running ME with WMP 9. I have just reloaded
everything and updated. When I try to play any media, avi,
mpg, mp3, wma...I get this error: Cannot play back the
audio stream: the audio format is not supported.

I have received this error message on every site I try to
stream video or audio from. I know the sites are not down
and I have had a computer next to mine running the stream.
Have not found any posts reguarding this problem.

i downloaded something called a XviD codec it said that if i dowload it i
could thedn play all xvid files and it still wont play help me please :(

Error is generated after opening some MPEG's. Some work fine, as do all AVI's
tested. Running XP Professional and MP9. No more auto updates available from
MS. Gspot is not helping, as it cannot render the files in order to get FFC

When trying to play MPG over 2MB I get the error;
Active move cannot play this video stream because it falls
outside the constrained standard {Error=8004025E)
I am using Windows Media Player 6.4 and cannot upgrade it.
