Hello, I have WMP 9 for XP and I'm suddenly finding that I've no sound when
playing mpg and wmv files...I get an error message saying:
"The audio codec identified by the format tag 1 is required to play this
file."

I have windows XP and media player 9.  I,m in the process of getting a new
sound card.  Is there a way to view avi files without a sound device?  The
