Im downloading a file and I go to preview it and the player pops up and
says"file already in use".....so it cant play it.  Whats the deal? Do I just
need to wait for the whole thing to finish downloading

OK, so I just took my MP3 player out of it's package, and I used it on my
computer, and when I plugged the USB cord in the device, all that shows is
that there's no device, or that the device has no memory, but it has 64 MB of
it.

I cannot get Media Player (version 9/XP) to display video on any type of
file.  All I get is a black larger screen surrounding a smaller dark gray
video box.  The sound plays fine, but no picture.  I've tried this with all
kinds of video files: AVI, MPEG, WMV, and DVD-- nothing ...

Does anyone know what these errors mean? I have a CD that was Burned. I
attempted to play and received the following errors:

Error message text (for example, "Windows Media Player has encountered an

Tried to help a friend figure out which codec his digi-cam
recorded a clip in and after installing what now appear to
be ancient codecs I'm having major problems and can no

When playing MP3s using WMP 8.00.00.4487 I get the following error:
"The requested audio codec is not installed on this system."  The
associated error code is C00D0BC2.
After checking reports of this kind of error, I've come to the

How can I take a snippet (say, 1 line of a song)of a music
file (mp3) and record it for another use?  I don't have a
microphone for my PC, so I thought there might be some way
to record directly from the file in play.

I have just reformatted my hard drive and I am having
