My player on XP does not work. The icon has been replaced by an American flag and whenever i try to open nothing happens. It no longer reads the files on cd's or dvd's when i put them in the drive, so even the autoplay does not work. What do i do, oh what do i do?

I created an MP4 file on my Pocket PC (i-mate). I copied some of the files to my lap top which runs of Media Player XP Professional. The copied files don't play on the XP Player. I get error ID 0x80040265. Is there is solution to my problem?

This is weird, I have WMP 9, ver 9.00.00.3075 running on WinXP Home. In my account, WMP9 runs fine, plays mp3's, wav files, midi, etc. In my wife's account, WMP9 says that WMP9 can't play the MP3 and it must be corrupt or damaged, it will also not play any wav or midi files and
