After SP2-Bootup opens WMP920 Aug 2004 06:51 GMT2
I've installed the same IT SP2 on 3 PCs without any problems, but on the
last one, WMP opens every time on bootup.
Am I missing a checked/unchecked box somewhere? WMP is not in Startup.
Blowed if I can find what's causing it.

Win Media payer always starts in copy music mode. I only

Thank you guys for answering all the questions regarding adware messing up
media player!   You guys (?) saved me a lot of headaches.  (Now keep your
fingers crossed that this fixes the issue)

Recently, for no reason I determine, WMP ver 9.0 hangs when I try to play
anything but songs on my hard drive.  DVDs as well as anything from the net
or Media Guide cause it to hang.  It won't give me an error code, but when it
says it stopped responding, the error message ...
