Having the last (9) version of WMP downloaded in OS Windows Me, I am unable
to view a video of .wmv format sent (checked without virus) to me by e-mail.
The downloading of the video file generates a 80040154 error. Should I
uninstall and reinstall WMP ? Thanks for helping me.

I moved my music files to my new computer.  The new computer searched for my
music ratings on over 2000 music files most of which were rated.  The new
version of the windows media software can't find the ratings.  Anyone know
how to recover them and move them?  I still have ...

I keep getting critical updates for Media Player Script Commands (KB828026),
but I would like to remove Windows Media Player because I use Real Player. I
went into Settings, Control Panel to remove it. I also removed it by
unchecking the box with the XP CDRom.

Whenever I try and play an MPEG or an MP3 or any other file in windows media
player 9, it says "class not registered". I can't use media player for
anything. The error code is 80040154 if that means anything to anybody.
Any help would be really appreciated.
