I have several AVI files that when played in Media Player play too fast,
about 3 times as fast as they should, and the sound is very high pitched..
These are short videos taken on a Canon digital camera, so not very exotic.
Anothe program, Nero Vison Express, also has problems ...

I get this message all the time with my Media Player 9.  I even restored my
computer and I'm still getting the message.  I'm trying to play the radio,
and every radio station does not seem to play.  It states that the source

Itunes, WMP and QuickTime all run fast...only the built-in
CD player the audio sounds normal. The rest is "chipmunk
speed." I adjusted the hardware acceleration to the lowest

I am getting the same "codec 75 error" under Win XP Pro with WMP
v9.00.00.2980, that so many others have inquired about here, and find
no solution for playing my VoxWare MetaSound .asf files.  My
non-VoxWare .asf's play just fine however.  I even called VoxWare's

Trying to play a homemade DVD. Not sure of the original file format since
I've changed it trying to open the file under Windows Media, QuickTime, Real
Player, but it is now saved as a Windows Media file.
In trying to play it in Windows Media, I get the "error downloading codec"
