Cant play windows media, any sound on dvd or anything else for that matter, error ID=0xC00D11BA, condition ID=0x00000000, Tells me, No sound card installed or in use by another program. I downloaded a screensaver prior to this, Would that have anything to do with it? Please help ...

I've encountered error message C00D11BD while using Windows Media Player.
Windows Media Player has encountered an unknown error. the error only occurs
when i use th link throught courttv.com

I realize that this question relates to a problem with
the norton firewall, but I cannot get any help over at
the Symantec site.  I cannot play streaming video with
the Windows Media player while my firewall is running.

I am running XP 2000 with version 9 MediaPlayer - I also have PowerDVD.
My disc drive works fine except that i cannot play two SVCD Mpeg2 format
discs. The drive picks up and tries to play but all it does is incrementally
speed up and then after a while I get the 'not responding' ...
