I got this error code 80040154 while trying to play a .wav file.  Under
properties of the wav file, I get "audio format unknown".  
Under preview -- MMSYSTEM326 message no wave device that can play under
current format.  However, the same audio plays well on my friend's system.

I get a message saying that the parameter is incorrect when trying to play
certain mp3 files. I am using media player 8 on XP home edition. Does anyone
have any ideas as to what i can do to rectify this?
