hi i brought a new pc had to load up windows xp that went fine.
had to install motherboard items which on the disk.
when ever i try to load a dvd through media player, or interactual player
i cant play dvds.

Received a wps file via email and had trouble opening it. I got this error

I download the Windows Media Player 10 but still get this error message.

when  I am trying to open a radio station erroris  occurding  . and it is
happenig only for a particular station.

All of my MP3s play with very bad static.  This happened
on WMP 9.0 and on 10.0 which I just downloaded today.  I
installed the newest codec package.  No help.
The files play fine on Real Player.

I recieve the following error when attempting to open certain video files.
appname: media player.exe appver: 10.0.0.3646 modname: unknown
The properties tell me that they are windows media files but does not play
them.

I have installed WM9.0 every file I try to play comes up "Class not
registered" which includes....mp3,wvm,avi,mpg.
I have installed both codec packages as they instructed on MSN (for WM9.0

clip, and it takes a sec or two for it to repeat again.

I downloaded multimedia from newsgroups and I don't seem to be able to play
it. The files are splitted and look like; movie_name.wmv.001,
movie_name.wmv.002, etc.
How do I play these files? Do I need to join them or is there something in
