I have downloaded something on here reccommended for playing videos that get
codec errors and that has helped but now I get an error with codec that plays
the video but i get no sound and it also doesnt allow me to load the video
into windows movie maker. Can anyone help?

Using XP with WMP 9.0.0.3075 I now get no video with MPEGs. AVIs are OK.
Mplayer2, BSPlayer give no trouble.
Examples of my MPEGs play OK on other computers.
Problem seems to have occured after installing software from a video camera, but am not 100% on this.

hello, im trying to run a normal .mpg file but i get "Windows Media Player
