I have been unable to play protected content that I had from WMP 9 after upgrading to WMP 10. The error doesn't make any sense: Windows Media Player cannot create the playlist because the name already exists. Type a different playlist name.

I just re-uploaded data for an album that I had uploaded* before. After it was done, all track ratings were wiped by the library. (* The album was uploaded over a year ago, but the online database has none of the track information I uploaded - 29 tracks in all. Someone

I want to clear or delete the list of 'Recently Played Files' when I click 'Open' files, just like Quick Time Play can clear "Recent". Show me how in Window Media Player.

Media Center TV and Real Player have Pause ability which lets one answer the telephone, the door, calls of nature etc. without loss of the story line by using the play/pause button with maybe 30 minutes of away time recorded to hard drive.
