Since installing media Player 10 my system crashes every time I try to run it. Basically what happens is when I use the media player it seems to work fine for a period and then shuts down the system as if the plug was pulled. Very annoying.

Any one know of a way to "lock" down the bit rate using a GPO? I want to be able to set the rate and prevent users from changing it! We are only connected via a t-1 with hundreds of machines in individual locations. I do not want to visit 4500 machines!!

I got the error message C00D109B, and downloaded FFDshow. I can now see the picture but there is no sound. I then downloaded Gspot. The audioo codec is ac3 (0x2000) Dolby Laboratories, Inc. How can I fix it so I can hear audio? Thanks for your help!

I have been trying to play a movie on my Windows Media Player and this message keeps popping up: "ClassFactory cannot supply requested class." If anyone could help me with this problem I would greatly appreciate it.

When I am burning CD's WMP automatically puts spaces between each song on the CD. This is usually OK but on some CD's (e.g. live CD's) there should not be a space between each song. Does anyone know there I can change this setting?
