My Windows Media Player is not working properly. The
audio from my music files sounds garbled, distorted, and
lacks crispness.The audio remains the same regardless of
the WMP version.I've reinstalled the latest version of

A recording device is not being recognized in my WMP!Real
Player and Roxio recognize it, so I know it's working
properly.  I did a search for hardware, and it's already

I have a friend that has songs on her computer on a media player. I wanted to

the Audio Cd format, but only 80 minutes worth, instead of 700MB's, which
mystifies me.  When I try to burn in the Data Cd format or the Highmat Cd

Can someone here help me to solve the problem of only
producing sound from one speaker? The other players like
Real and iTunes are all able to play vids or mp3s,
producing sound from both speaker.

WMP9 or 10 won't allow me to burn to my CD Burner.  Has
worked in the past, think I got a new (autoupdate) WMP
build then I lost my cdburner drive from WMP drop down

I'm using windows xp and WMP for windows xp, I am trying to play mp3 files
but with some files i get the error message 'The parameter is incorrect'

I used to be able to play video and audio in IE, but since I upgraded to WMP
10, I see garbled text when trying to open mp3s and such.  I can reset IE
Media properties and the default player (WMP 10) opens, but does play within
IE.  Does anyone have any suggestions how to fix ...
