My WMP 10 shows a BLACK screen while I try to play
videos.
The audio works fine, and I can watch the time scale
moving, but no picture. This problem occurs on all videos

I have auto play turned on but it still wont refresh. it plays ok, but shows
the previous cd. how do i fix it?

Sound has disappeared.  Sound is fine with everything else so speakers okay.

if i download the DVD XPack for Windows XP  off the windows media player
site, then windows media player should play dvd's right??  does it matter if
i have a dvd drive???

I am new to video clips and just downloaded and installed
the Windows Media Player 10.  I have a video clip (wmv)
file.  The player opens and it seems to load and the bar

I got a PC from a company that just closed down. They did
not allow their employees to use Windows Media Player.
Now that I have the bare Windows XP PC, I cannot use WMP

crashes IE and restarts it.

I am a pretty good computer person, but lately , when i click on a link to
play anything, whatever it might be, i get an error message saying simply
"access Denied". this really makes me mad, since i cannot play anything.

I am trying to play some videos in media player 10 from the internet or on
my computer.  Most of the time it shows up as a green screen instead of the
picture.  The audio is fine but when the green screen is there and I try to
move my mouse the mouse jumps like it is using up ALL ...
