I have a Dell XP machine with Media Player 8 installed.  I decided to
upgrade to MP10.  I downloaded the file and when I try to install I get an
error message stating that "mp10setup.exe is not a valid Win32 Application".
I assume that this is a bogus error and my machine must be ...

WMP crashes immediately upon trying to play webcasts or
streaming video.  Files on harddrive play fine.  Error
message:  WMP has encountered a problem and needs to
close.  App Name: WMplayer.exe  App Ver 9.0.0.2980 Mod

IOW, Tag edits made in the wmp library don't change the file names in
the My Music folder.  Is this a problem with my particular installation
or is it one of wmp's quirky vapor features?

I am trying to play a .asf file, but I keep getting the following error:
Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the
file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.

My WMp shows a error 80040154....any ideas?
