I downloaded a WMV that I can't browse. Not possible to go forward or
backward, not possible to go to the end of the movie then come back to the
middle. I can only play, pause and stop.
Is there something I can do to fix this file?

i am trying to play a ripped dvd and recieve this message.  i know it plays
in a dvd player but i am trying to play it in my pc.  is there anyway i can

WM9 worked OK on .asx streaming video.
I installed WM10 and it wont even open on dbl/click never mind playing .asf
streaming video.
Will I revert to WM9?

Hey everyone,
I installed WMP 10 a while back, and yesterday I started the process of
ripping my CDs to my computer.  While doing this, I found a problem that is
pretty annoying, and am hoping someone could help out.

I have just updated my media player to version 10. my media player 9 burned
cds good as, but ever since i've had 10 I haven't been able to burn cds. it
comes up for each song 'an error occured' and sometimes says that all songs

I am trying to figure out if there is a way to force the update of my media
information.  I am not connected to the internet all the time, and would like
to make sure that MP10 is updating the info when I am on.  Any help would be
great.
