Just loaded  Media Player 10. A couple of mpeg files work, but for the most
part WMP just opens a black screen and does nothing. Am I missing a codec?  
With version 9 I had no problem viewing these same files. Any suggestions?

was trying to open a file that got sent over email,
WindowsMedia.com opened up but it wouldn't let me watch it
just took me to a page where it said
there is an error

It won't let me play a file already on the computer or off of the internet.  
I've tried reinstalling it several times and I've gone to the Help Website
for the Unknown Error.  Nothing is working, is there anything else that I can
try?

Media Player 10 won't play DVD's and .SWF format. The Media Player 9 use to
play DVD and .SWF files. This new one won't play them. What do I do?

I have recently updated to mediaplayer v9 and since then my CDs will not play.
I get a message which starts "Windows mediaplayer cannot play the file and

I have upgraded my media player to version 9 and when I try to burn to cd, I
