hey, i get this message every time i log on, and when ever i play (or should
i say, attempt to play) any music or video files. i have no sound... please

I've read all these questions, that apply to the same error message that I am
getting.  I click on the suggested link, and follow the steps that are given
as a resoltuion.  Still no luck.  All I want to do is listen to my favorite
radion station!

I'm running XP Pro SP2.  Have used WMP v9 and upgraded to 10.  Always worked
for internet downloads and files on my hard disk.  Now does not work for

Whilst playing a video in windows media player, it doesnt show the full
picture, it only shows the the top right of the picture. The same thing
happens whilst viewing in other players such as Nero showtime. How can i view
