I've always benn able to play music but after downloading and installing
Windows Media Player9 , I'm unable play I immediate ly receive themessage

Is there another way uninstalling wWindows Media Player9 without having to
run system resore on XP( it requires an additional 200mb which I don't have?

HI, I have ripped a ton of CD's but at a very high
bitrate.  I would like to be abale to run a batch job on
all these files to a lower bitrate.  Maybe 128.  
Any suggestions whatt is the best way to do this?

I'm using WMP 10 on XP Pro SP1, and any time I go to the
Sync tab, I get a popup error reading, "Windows Media
Player cannot access the file. The file might be in use,
you might not have access to the computer where the file

i tried downloading something and when i try to play it, it comes up with
'you have encountered a error' (or something along that nature) then gives me
this code: 80070057  when i ask for more details.
i have WMV for XP, (i think it's like version 9.0)

Just installed the new WMP 10. And now, no matter how hard I try, the
miniPlayer's "Play/Pause", "Stop", and "Skip" buttons don't work! I have to
open up WMP to stop/pause/skip a track. Any solutions?
