i installed wmp 10 and now i want to play a dvd, but it doesn't show the
video, only the sound, under in the screen it says 'fault during download
codec' how can i solve this problem?

I am using Windows XP Pro/Windows Media Player 10
I am having a problem with Windows Media Player. Whenever I open a new file,
the volume is extremely low (from the software end of things), but when I
skip to a middle part of the track that is selected, the volume normalizes.

my media guide doesn't recognize that i'm on the interent when i am. when i
try to play media from the windowmedia.com website. it doesn't work either.
it always gives me this message:
      "Unable to access this media, you may not be connected to the network".
