I have WMP 7.1 for Windows 98. I downloaded an mp3 off winmx. When I try to
play the song in WMP it says "The parameter is incorrect." All of my million
other mp3s work. The song works on realplayer. Why doesn't it work on WMP?

And I can play some AVI files but not all. The AVI files I am having a
problem with are the ones my digital camera produce (which use Motion JPEG).

After updating to WMP 10 the program shows up as launched in the toolbar but
does not allow for 'maximized' or 'restored' setting. It's stuck in the

Hi!  It is removed yet US vers title Eurythmics/In The Garden hidden graphic
and tagging returns when adding missing info online...it spreads itself to
many titles w/o tag info even changing info...I clean all out diligently and

my library I have now two sets of icons. This means I have twice "All music",
"All Video", "All TV"...

I'm using WMP 9.00.00.3075 and Win 2000 SP3.
I have two artists (Dave Matthews Band and Widespread Panic) with the same
album name (Everyday).  In the Media Library, when I view by artist, if I
click on Widespread Panic's Everyday album, songs from both Widespread Panic

My media player used to show very useful information from AMG about the
album playing and the artist and a discography of the artist.  It has
suddenly stopped showing this data and replaced it with advertising I am not
interested in.  How do I get back to what I had before?
